When you buy garlic it doesn’t smell particularly of anything, but when you cut or bruise it a chemical process takes place which certainly does make it smell of garlic. When you have created in your kitchen chopping board is a substance called Allicin. Allicin doesn’t last forever though. It gradually starts to break down into other substances.
A British company has come up with a way of stabilising the Allicin in garlic which enables you to take a product which is as close to real, fresh cut garlic everyday. Why though? Why bother? A lot of the properties of garlic, particularly the anti-microbial properties are down to the Allicin. There has been significant research into Allicin which shows that not only does it help to counter bacterial and fungal infections, but also possesses anti-viral properties.
Some of the bugs that Allicin has been researched for include MRSA, Candida albicans, Streptococcus, E. coli, Salmonella and H. Pylori.
Our experience of AllicinMax (the capsules) and Alliderm (the external gel based on Aloe Vera) have been simply phenomenal over the past few months and I think it worthwhile sharing some of the stories.
- Before Christmas a customer who had been off work with MRSA in her hands. She works in the NHS so re-entering the hospital with MRSA was not an option. Two courses of the strongest MRSA-suitable antibiotics from the GP failed to make an impact. Then it was just shrugs. We recommended the Alliderm gel and the customer also decided to take some of the capsules too. Within 10 days the MRSA infection was clear and she could return to work.
- One of our regular customers had an appalling chest infection earlier this year. Her wheezes could easily be heard over the phone. She had taken everything possible but nothing was helping. After only a few days of taking 10 AllicinMax capsules daily her breathing began to alleviate and she started to recover. She now continues to take AllicinMax and, like many other people who have tried it, has recommended it to almost everyone who will listen to her, including her dog…
- Alliderm was also recommended to a gentleman who had really debilitating, long-term acne with his spots erupting and making him too embarrassed to leave the house. After using it for only a short period of time the Allicin must have destroyed the bacteria in his skin which was causing the eruptions and he was able to get about with his life again.
It is not so often that we get such super-strong feedback from our customers to the point that they start doing our work for us and start sending people into us in droves but this is definitely one.
Both products do initially smell of garlic but it quickly fades and even taking a high dose of 10-12 capsules daily will not be noticeable to even the most sensitive noses. I have personal experience of this!
Other uses of the products include as a natural hand sanitiser, especially when dealing with hospitals or people with infections, as a vaginal or intimate treatment for thrush, Athlete’s foot, fungal toe infections, wounds generally. Allicin can also be used to counter intestinal problems like H. pylori, Candida albicans and SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth).
AlliDerm and AllicinMax can be bought from our web shop or instore.
